CASA Kane County, a local nonprofit organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court, was recently awarded a $15,000 grant from the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley. This grant will allow CASA Kane County to cover the costs associated with recent office renovations including new carpeting, furniture, and laptops.
CASA Kane County is located on the fourth floor of the Kane County Courthouse in Geneva. The agency had not made any renovations in over twenty years, and is thankful to the Community Foundation for supporting the much-needed improvements.
The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley is a non-profit philanthropic corporation that administers individual charitable funds and distributes grants and scholarships to benefit the citizens of the Greater Aurora Area, the Tri-Cities and Kendall County Illinois.
