GreenTown Fox Valley & Mayor’s Breakfast

April 27, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

The Fox Valley Sustainability Network, formed by GreenTown co-founders a5 Inc and Seven Generations Ahead, will be hosting the third GreenTown event in the City of Aurora at Two Brothers Roundhouse on Thursday, April 27, 2017. At the last GreenTown Aurora event in 2015, Aurora Mayor Tom Weisner urged participants to work together to ensure the further development of healthy, sustainable communities in the Fox Valley region.

The Fox Valley Sustainability Network brings together the public and private sectors from around the Fox Valley to cut across boundaries and create healthy sustainable communities—and a vibrant Fox Valley. By marrying a strong communications effort with a series of action-oriented events, the Fox Valley Sustainability Network will provide opportunities to learn together, collaborate on sustainability planning and implementation, seek funding and report progress.

When: Thursday, April 27, 2017
Where: Two Brothers Roundhouse: 205 N Broadway, Aurora, IL

As a first-generation college student from a low-income family, I was worried about how I was going to pay for books and supplies. This scholarship will allow me to focus more on my studies instead of worrying about how to afford college. I am working to not only create opportunities for myself but to motivate future generations. Thank you so much for helping me along this journey!

A community foundation is a donor-driven organization that helps donors custom-design funds that reflect their charitable interests. Through the years, grants from these funds have made a significant impact on our local communities.
