About the Band
The Roosevelt-Aurora Post No. 84 American Legion Band is a group of patriotic musicians who have a common goal — to make good music together, and have fun doing it. Since 1937, the band has enabled musicians in Chicago’s western suburbs to continue their music education by performing challenging music in a relaxed setting. One of the band’s strengths is its diversity, boasting military veterans, student musicians, former high school and college players, music educators, and retirees among its membership. The band performs in concerts and marches in parades throughout Northern Illinois.
