Marklund’s Roaring Twenties Gatsby Ball

February 4, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - February 5, 2017 @ 12:30 am

Step back in time to the Roaring Twenties, when prosperity and jazz were all the rage, women celebrated new “flapper” fashions and modern ideals, the Charleston was on every dance floor and speakeasies were the place to be. We will embrace the lavishness of this unforgettable era during “The Gatsby Ball,” Marklund’s 21st annual Top Hat fundraising gala.

Join Marklund as it celebrates this milestone event on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at the Marriott Chicago Hotel on the Magnificent Mile.

Enjoy a night of abundance featuring a cocktail and gaming hour, decadent dinner, and exciting auction and raffle packages, all wrapped up in beautiful Art Deco décor. Dance the night away to intonations of a live band and welcome in the new day with delicious fare served up at midnight.

Various ticket options and sponsorship packages are available, which include some exciting new features, including private VIP access, pre-event gaming and cocktails, social media blasts and more!

As a first-generation college student from a low-income family, I was worried about how I was going to pay for books and supplies. This scholarship will allow me to focus more on my studies instead of worrying about how to afford college. I am working to not only create opportunities for myself but to motivate future generations. Thank you so much for helping me along this journey!

A community foundation is a donor-driven organization that helps donors custom-design funds that reflect their charitable interests. Through the years, grants from these funds have made a significant impact on our local communities.
