Senior Services Celebrates The 60’s Feelin’ Groovy

April 28, 2017

Senior Services invites you to celebrate The 60’s, and Feelin’ Groovy at their Annual Dinner and Silent Auction on Friday, April 28th, at Villa Olivia Country Club.

They encourage the hip foxes and hunks out there to get all decked out in their 60’s threads! Everyone will look fine as wine as they dance the monkey and the twist to songs from the Beatles, The Doors, Elvis and more. There will be trivia and costume contests, a 60’s variety show, live auction and great raffles that will really make you flip your wig!

Tickets are $75per person. A table of 10 is $700 and reservations are required. Get your order for tickets in now! For more information on this Far Out fundraiser for Senior Services, or to offer to help with a Sponsorship or donation, call Kris at 847-741-0404.

As a first-generation college student from a low-income family, I was worried about how I was going to pay for books and supplies. This scholarship will allow me to focus more on my studies instead of worrying about how to afford college. I am working to not only create opportunities for myself but to motivate future generations. Thank you so much for helping me along this journey!

…you can always start small, even $25 can make a difference. Remember we can’t take our money with us. Even if it’s just your gift of time. Volunteer and get involved.

Thank you very much for supporting my college education for these four years. I will never be able to repay you for the opportunity that this scholarship has given to me.
