My Father’s Hands Receives $10K Grant From Community Foundation

The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley recently awarded an emergency grant of $10,000 to My Father’s Hands for a truck.

My Father’s Hands provides career mentoring while serving seniors, disabled and single parents in the Fox River Valley Area.  Services include home maintenance, lawn care, home repair and installation of ADA approved equipment.

Due to the high demand for assistance, our agency has struggled with continued truck repairs and has desperately needed assistance in purchasing an additional vehicle to meet those high demands.

The Community Foundation’s grant will allow My Father’s Hands to continue to help those in need from the Fox Valley area.
