Joseph Corporation Receives $10K Grant From Community Foundation

For further information:
Louise A. Ideran, Operations Coordinator

Joseph Corporation’s Board of Directors and Staff would like to thank the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley for their generous grant in the amount of $10,000 for our technology upgrade project.

With the downturn in our economy and home values plummeting with no sign of relief in the near future, Joseph Corporation’s services are needed more than ever. In the past year we have touched the lives of 477 individuals and families. We accomplish this through outreach, group counseling and one-on-one counseling.  Our success rate of resolving a client’s delinquency is 35% which is better than the national average.  This grant from the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley will help our agency maintain its goal of keeping as many families as possible in their homes.

We appreciate the support of the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley, its Board of Directors, and staff.

As a first-generation college student from a low-income family, I was worried about how I was going to pay for books and supplies. This scholarship will allow me to focus more on my studies instead of worrying about how to afford college. I am working to not only create opportunities for myself but to motivate future generations. Thank you so much for helping me along this journey!

…you can always start small, even $25 can make a difference. Remember we can’t take our money with us. Even if it’s just your gift of time. Volunteer and get involved.

A community foundation is a donor-driven organization that helps donors custom-design funds that reflect their charitable interests. Through the years, grants from these funds have made a significant impact on our local communities.
