Mutual Ground, Inc. is pleased to announce the notification of a grant award from the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley in the amount of $18,050. This approved grant will allow Mutual Ground to make much-needed repairs to the roof at their shelter and offices.
“On behalf of Mutual Ground and its Board of Directors, I would like to thank the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley for their recent grant for roof repairs at our facility. Mutual Ground serves hundreds of area residents who have experienced domestic or sexual violence, including more than 200 women and children who reside at our shelter annually. In order for Mutual Ground to better serve our clients through shelter, counseling, and other means of support, these roof repairs are a necessity,” said Michelle Meyer, Executive Director.
