Dr. Charles Boudreau worked for several years as the Director of Student Services at Waubonsee Community College. Over course of his career, he worked with many students that needed assistance overcoming financial, personal, and/or developmental challenges, including autism. In the last decade, there has been a threefold increase in the number of children identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The dual challenges presented by this increase are to provide services to autistic children and to conduct research into the causes of autism. The Boudreau Family Fund donates to Urban Autism Solutions and RUSH’s Autism Assessment, Research, Treatment, and Services Center. Dr, Boudreau feels very fortunate to create a fund that makes donations to support a growing special needs population. The Boudreau Family Fund will ensure that donations continue for essential services for youth and young adults and autism research.
