Fox River Arts is a collaborative group seeking to promote arts and culture in the Fox River Valley to cultivate a visible arts destination from Aurora to Elgin.
2020 Fox River Arts Ramble Event Details:
Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June 7th
Join us for the 3rd Annual Fox River Arts Ramble: a two-day, self-guided arts tour featuring numerous arts-related locations from Aurora to Elgin in 2020.
The Fox River Arts Ramble is pleased to announce that it will have a separate section on its brochure to accommodate performing arts venues with specific performances. Our application process through the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley will be open to performing arts venues from 1/15 to 1/31. These groups may participate outside of the normal hours of the Ramble, and their information will be printed on the brochure. We are pleased to support performances this year!
We chose the Community Foundation because of its reputation. It’s well known, established and we can trust them to do the job for us.
Richard and Susan Schindel Scholarship Funds
A community foundation is a donor-driven organization that helps donors custom-design funds that reflect their charitable interests. Through the years, grants from these funds have made a significant impact on our local communities.
…you can always start small, even $25 can make a difference. Remember we can’t take our money with us. Even if it’s just your gift of time. Volunteer and get involved.

As a first-generation college student from a low-income family, I was worried about how I was going to pay for books and supplies. This scholarship will allow me to focus more on my studies instead of worrying about how to afford college. I am working to not only create opportunities for myself but to motivate future generations. Thank you so much for helping me along this journey!
