This fund was established to support the philanthropic endeavors of Frank Naeymi-Rad and Theresa A. Kepic. The two met while studying at Illinois State University and have since directed many of their philanthropic efforts toward the healthcare sector – specifically within the state of Illinois, which they say has been so good to them personally and professionally. Aside from their philanthropic efforts across northern Illinois, the couple has an endowment at Washington University, which courts many students from the southern Illinois area.
Dr. Frank Naeymi–Rad is the Co–founder of Intelligent Medical Objects, Inc., a healthcare technology company. Dr. Theresa Kepic is a retired obstetrics and gynecology specialist. Together, the two created Leap of Faith Technologies, Inc., which emphasizes different forms of healthcare and data collection. It also focuses on telehealth – a move that has paid off as many healthcare facilities move non–emergency appointments to a virtual setting.
“We want to give one dollar to be able to deliver ten dollars’ value to the causes that we support. We want to make sure that we empower leaders who we are supporting.” – Frank Naeymi-Rad
