Mutual Ground’s Walk For Hope

October 14, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 11:30 am

Mutual Ground is excited to be hosting this year’s walk at Blackberry Farm. Join survivors, family and friends of Mutual Ground on Saturday, October 14th to help raise much needed funds to help those affected by domestic or sexual abuse.

The top pledge raising team will get their own tent with a small breakfast provided at their tent.

Pets are not allowed due to Blackberry Farm’s policies.

The Fox Valley Park District is generously offering those who attend the walk free admission into the park following the event! Free admission into Blackberry Farm will only be available to those who arrive at Blackberry Farm before 9:30 a.m.

T-Shirts: Only individuals who raised $100 or more through their fundraising page or donate $100 or more will receive a free t-shirt. For example, if you are on a team of 5 and the team as a whole raised $500, only the team members who raised $100 or more individually will receive a shirt. Sizes are not guaranteed and are first come first serve!

Thank you very much for supporting my college education for these four years. I will never be able to repay you for the opportunity that this scholarship has given to me.

Julia H.

[Renewing Scholarship Recipient] Graduate of Hinkley-Big Rock High School

As a first-generation college student from a low-income family, I was worried about how I was going to pay for books and supplies. This scholarship will allow me to focus more on my studies instead of worrying about how to afford college. I am working to not only create opportunities for myself but to motivate future generations. Thank you so much for helping me along this journey!

A community foundation is a donor-driven organization that helps donors custom-design funds that reflect their charitable interests. Through the years, grants from these funds have made a significant impact on our local communities.
