  Daniel J. Ruddy (1927-2008) was a director of the Community Foundation from 1973-1989. Mr. Ruddy was educated in Aurora parochial schools. He received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. His entire career was spent with Ruddy Brothers, Inc., Contractors and Engineers in North Aurora.
