The General Fund is a reserve fund that helps to supplement the Foundation’s grantmaking and scholarship activities. Each year, many discretionary grants and several scholarships are distributed from the fund. Established shortly after the Community Foundation was founded in 1948, this fund continues to provide needed support to the community.

A community foundation is a donor-driven organization that helps donors custom-design funds that reflect their charitable interests. Through the years, grants from these funds have made a significant impact on our local communities.
