Valley Sheltered Workshop

 

The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley has awarded a $13,000 grant to the Valley Sheltered Workshop located in Batavia, IL.  The Workshop was established in 1966 by Reverend Gilbert Johnstone and provides a productive work environment for adults with developmental disabilities.  The funding provided by the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley will enable Valley Sheltered Workshop to remodel areas in their facility that will make it more functional and accessible to both their employees and the local businesses who utilize the work services they offer.  For more information on the Community Foundation, see www.CommunityFoundationFRV.org .
