New Fund: Robert E. Stredde Endowment Fund

The Foundation's first fund for 2022, the Robert E. Stredde Endowment Fund was created earlier this year to provide income for the Community Foundation’s discretionary grantmaking program. Grants from the fund support the charitable needs of the Community Foundation’s service area, including the fields of health care, education, social services, the arts and the environment. Robert (Rob) Stredde is a 1993 graduate of West Aurora High School.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Aurora University. Read more…

A Look Back at our 74th Year

After two years of virtual meetings, it was wonderful to host the 2022 Annual Meeting in person.  It was an honor to celebrate and recognize the years of service and the contributions to the Foundation of several retiring board members: Scott Voris, John Diederich, Rick Guzman, and Duncan Alexander.  Several new members were welcomed to the board: Mariana Martinez, Brian Konen, and Don Kremin.
